with Valdani hand over-dyed threads.

The hornbook is hand cut and painted with a
roughened finish, sanded and antiqued. The
stitchery is edged with black boucle.
I have wrapped rusty wire around the top.

Cupboard Tuck
The Give Thanks cross stitch cupboard
tuck measures 5-1/4"x 5-3/4". It is
stitched on linen with over-dyed threads,
in olde muted shades.

The tuck is edged with black mini
ball trim that I hand stitched on. It is
backed with deep plum wool.

Olde St. Nick Pinkeep
Stitched on linen, this vintage looking
pinkeep measures 4"x 5".
I used over-dyed threads on this pinkeep
which gives St. Nick's coat an old
weathered look. It is filled with snippets
and prim whipstiched closed at the bottom.
The pinkeep is backed with cotton
homespun and has a rusty safety pin
and bell secured to the front corner.
