Vintage Nutmeg Grater Punch Needle
While antiquing in area shops recently
I found a vintage nutmeg grater measuring
2" at the top x 5" length.
I have designed a punch needle
stitchery that is tapered on the
bottom to fit the grater and
attached it to the front.
The stitchery is with Valdani hand
over-dyed threads and is edged with
black boucle yarn.
Rusty bells are attached at the top
and a bit of raffia is tied through
the hole.
The little lid opens on the grater,
cute little primitive needful.
