December Updates

Bringing Home The Tree Cupboard Tuck

Bringing home the tree is an adaptation design from Pineberry
Lane measuring 5-1/2" x 6-1/4".  I stitched this on aged linen
one over two with overdyed threads.

The cupboard tuck is backed with cotton and filled
with snippets.  I have secured a rusty bell to the front
corner and stitched a running stitch around the edges.

Klaus Make-Do

Klaus is a cute make-do measuring 12-1/2" high and
5" wide at the base.  This is a pattern from Chestnut Junction.
Klaus and his tree are sewn from osnaburg fabric that has
been aged
with coffee & vanilla, painted, sanded and aged again.

He is attached to a vintage well worn and rusty
funnel that I found at a local antique shop.

Klaus has a hand stitched face and wool roving for his
hair and beard.

Aged warm and natural batting accent his hat and coat
with hand stitched little thread buttons.  A dried twig has
been used for the tree trunk with a wool star
pinned to the top.

Kindly asking $26 plus travel fare via
USPS Priority Mail due to his height.  If interested,
please provide me with your zip code for an
accurate shipping cost.

Needlepunch Snowman Cupboard Hanger

This snowman cupboard hanger measures
5-1/2" x 4".  I stitched the punch needle with
Valdani hand dyed threads and edged it with
cotton chenille.

The hanger is backed with wool felt and lightly
filled with batt.  The rusty wire hanger adds an
additional 2" to the overall height.
A small collection of buttons is wired through
the hanger.

Prairie Schooler Cupboard Hanger

Prairie Schooler has a nice selection of classic themed
designs and this cupboard hanger measures 3-1/4" x 4-1/4".
I stitched this on coarse rustic 18 count linen, one over one
which replicates a 36 count stitched area, a small but very
detailed finish.

It is backed with cotton and filled with cotton and linen
snippets.  Overdyed and conventional cotton threads
were used on this and the rusty hanger adds an
additional 2" to the overall height.
