 Winter - Primitive Stitchery



Offered is a stitchery designed by Lila's Studio that
measures 8-1/2" x 6".  I stitched this on aged linen
with over dyed and conventional threads one over
two.



Winter is filled with batt and cotton snippets and
backed with a coordinating cotton.
I have secured a small rusty jingle bell on the
sleigh.

Punch Needle Snowman Ornie



This snowman ornie measures 2-1/2" x 6" and is
stitched with Valdani hand over dyed threads on
weavers fabric.



The black stove pipe wire adds an additional 3"
in overall height.



It is filled with batt and backed with
flecked wool felt that is hand stitched to the front.

Button Tree Primitive Cross Stitch


Button Tree is a design by the Drawn Thread I
stitched on linen with over dyed threads one
over two.  The linen is a subdued beige green
shade, the stitchery measures 5" x 8-1/4". 


It is filled with batt and cotton/linen snippets
and backed with coordinating cotton.



Winter white chenille is hand stitched to the
outer edge, the tree is filled with tiny buttons
and there is a small rusty bell on the tree top.

Winter Stag Pinkeep


Winter Stag is a pinkeep design by Early
Workings and measures 6-1/4" x 6-1/2".  I stitched
this on aged linen with over dyed threads one
over two. 


The pinkeep is filled with cotton/linen snippets
and backed with coordinating cotton.  I have overcast
the edges with a prim whipstitch.

Snowman Punch Needle Hornbook


Offering this primitive hornbook that measures
4-1/2" x 7-1/2".  I stitched this with Valdani hand
over dyed threads on weavers cloth.  The stitchery
is edged with winter white cotton yarn and is
secured to a hand cut hornbook.



The hornbook wood is from repurposed wood that
I painted, sanded and antiqued. 
There is stovepipe wire wound around the top with
two rusty bells.
