Needle Punch Hornbook - Tom
This month I'm offering a primitive needle punch hornbook
measuring 6" x 5-1/2" x 3/4".
Tom is an adaptation from Notforgotten Farm designs
and is stitched with Valdani hand over-dyed threads.
The hornbook is cut from reclaimed wood in a prim
fashion, based in black and randomly sanded.
Black boucle yarn edges the stitchery and rusty wire
is wound around the top.

Christmas Bells Pinkeep
Christmas Bells is a design by Blackbird Designs
and measures 6-1/2" x 5". I stitched this with over-dyed
thread one over two on printed linen.
I printed the linen to replicate old vintage hand
written text for the background. It's unique with a
different look. The pinkeep is backed with black tone
on tone cotton, batt filled and has a rusty bell secured
on the front.

Lady Winter Pinkeep
This pinkeep is a design by The Primitive Hare and
measures 8"x 5". I stitched this with conventional
threads one over two on linen, soft thread colors are used
on this piece.
It is filled with batt and cotton/linen snippets, a tone on
tone cotton print is used on the back.
There is a primitive running stitch around the edge
and a safety pin with rusty bell secured on the front.
