Cupboard Hangers/Bowl Fillers

For your consideration are prim cross stitch designs from Prairie Schooler.  I stitched them on oatmeal Fiddlers cloth with conventional threads in warm muted fall colors.  They are lightly stuffed and sold individually.

A and B cupboard hangers have rouched overdyed rickrack on the edge and rickrack hangers.  They measure 4-3/4" x 5-1/2".  The hanger adds an additional 3-1/2".  The hanger is secured with a safety pin on the back, if you desire it can easily be removed.
B - 'Tis sold - Thank you Joanne
A, C & D  - 'Tis sold - Thank you Ros

C & D bowl fillers do not have hangers but a blanket stitch edge finish.  They measure 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" and the Fiddlers cloth is lightly aged.

Please specify A, B, C. or D if interested in purchasing.

Trick or Tweet Make-Do Punch Needle

Purely primitive is this punch needle autumn make-do that I stitched with overdyed Valdani threads on weavers cloth.  This is a design by With Thy Needle and Thread.

A tiny rusty bell is sewn on for his eye and the crow is mounted on a clean but old rusty oil can that I repurposed.  Mr. Crow has black tone on tone cotton backing, a scrap of wool tied on the can and a grunged tag with "Autumn" on it.  The punch needle measures 7" wide x 6" high overall.

'Tis Sold - Thank you Stephanie

The Dancing Witch Punch Needle

Dancing Witch measures 9" x 7-1/4" x 3/4".  I stitched this with Valdani overdyed threads on weavers cloth.  It is edged with boucle and mounted to a hornbook that had been combed with black over a dark honey color.

On the top I have attached dried grapevine sections with a rusty star and a grunged cheesecloth scrap.  They are secured with rusty wire wrapped around the hornbook neck.

'Tis sold - Thank you Carole

Give Ye Thanks Hornbook

This primitive punch needle hornbook measures 8-3/4" x 5-1/4" x 3/4".  This is an adaption from a design by Notforgotten Farm that I stitched with Valdani overdyed threads on weavers cloth.

The reclaimed wood has been sanded and antiqued.  There is a rusty star sewn to the upper corner of the punch needle and rusty wire wound around the top of the hornbook.

' Tis sold - Thank You Sue
