May Updates

Strawberry Bowl Fillers

Offered this month are five strawberry bowl fillers.

They range in size from 5" - 6" in length x 2" width at
the stem end.  I have cross stitched one on linen, the
other four are a variety of overdyed wool and cottons.

The stems are rolled wool, the berry caps are wool that
have been prim stitched on.  The red wool strawberries
have small colonial knots stitched on randomly.

The word Biene is German for bee... and the little
stitched bees are absolutely cute with little stripes
and wings.

Kindly asking $32 for the five strawberries plus travel
fare via USPS Priority Mail.    Please contact me with
your zip code for accurate postage cost.

Netty's Sampler - Pinkeep Drum

This is a unique dimensional pinkeep designed by
Stacy Nash.  The pinkeep drum measures 4-1/2"
high x 4" wide.

There is primitive cross stitch edging the top, bottom
and side seam.

A scrap of dyed cotton cluny is secured to the top
along with an old hat pin with buttons.

The threads used are muted shades, the cotton top
and bottom are reproduction fabrics.

Garden Gate Needle Punch Hornbook

This needle punch hornbook measures 9" x 5-1/2" x 1/2".
I stitched this with Valdani over-dyed threads and edged
it with black boucle.

The wood hornbook is sanded and antiqued with rusty
wire wound through the top and a rusty heart for
embellishment.

Wool Hooked Flowers

Wishing my garden flowers were as big as these... not yet.
This set of five prim flowers are hooked with overdyed
and as is wool.
Each one has wool leaves tied on the stem with a curled
wire accent.

They range in size from 4" - 5-1/2" diameter and 12" - 16"
in length.  I have attached pine branches to them for
stems and backed with with wool.  They are hooked on
rustic burlap.

Kindly asking $26 plus travel fare via USPS Priority
Mail.
