The hornbook is worked with Valdani
handover-dyed threads and mounted
to a re-purposed wood base.
A strand of old buttons is looped
around the top.

Joy/Spring Stand-Up
This cross stitch stand-up measures 7" high x 3"
wide at the base.
It is stitched on light fiddler's cloth
with hand over-dyed threads and is a design
from Homespun Elegance.
The stand-up is firmly stuffed and has a small
weighted muslin sack inside, covered
cardboard base and is backed with a tonal
spring green cotton print, reminds me of
green grass which where I live is under quite
a bit of snow!
Picot ribbon and a beaded hat pin embellish
the top; a linen thread with decorative
button are secured across the front.

Pair of Linen Pinkeeps
The above pair of pinkeeps was stitched
on aged linen with conventional
threads and snippet filled.
"Spring" measures 2-3/4" x 4-1/2",
"1820" measures 3" X 5".
They are backed with cotton homespun
and closed in a primitive fashion.
Spring has a rusty heart secured
to the front.

Trio of Eggs
This cute trio of cross stitch eggs measure
2-1/2" x 4-1/2". They are stitched
on linen with hand over-dyed
threads and edged with nubby yarn
that is hand stitched on.
They are backed with wool felt in light
colors.

Happy Easter Pinkeep
Happy Easter pinkeep measures 4" x 5"
and is stitched on aged linen with
conventional threads.
It is backed with cotton homespun,
snipped filled and has a rusty bell
attached with a rusty safety pin
on the front.
