1835  CUPBOARD HANGER

Offered this month is a cross stitch
cupboard hanger measuring 5" x 4".
This is stitched on osnaburg fabric
with conventional cotton threads
and very lightly filled with batt.

The wool strip hanger adds an additional
4-1/2" and it is backed with cotton.
I have attached a rusty heart and
stitched a piece of cotton cluny lace
on one end.

PUNCH NEEDLE HANGER

This punch needle hanger is an
adaptation from Notforgotten Farm
and measures 5-1/2" x 5".

The braided wool fiber hanger adds an
additional 5" in length, it is also
edged with the same fiber.

I stitched this piece with with Valdani
handover-dyed threads, backed it with
black wool and lightly filled it to
give the stitchery some dimension.

The above picture shows the hanger
just tucked behind the stitchery.
