Autumn Pinkeep
Offered this month is a cross stitch
pinkeep measuring 4"x 5".
This was stitched with
a mix of conventional and over dyed
threads on linen.
It is finished with cotton borders and
has tiny cross stitches on the brown
border.
There is an accent of a rusty safety pin
and bell in the lower corner.
The cotton back is a mix of fall
colors and it is lightly filled.
'Oh Glorious Day - Needle Punch
This needle punch measures 4-1/4"x 5-1/2".
It was stitched with Valdani hand over-dyed
threads and finished with hand stitched
variegated bulky yarn on the edges.
It is backed with dark navy wool that is
whipstitched to the stitchery.
The stitchery is an adaptation from
Notforgotten Farm.

Crows Pinkeep
Mr. Scarecrow is casting a wary eye
on the crows above his head as he
keeps watch over the corn!
This cute pinkeep was stitched on
hand overdyed linen with overdyed
threads.
It is a design from a talented
designer, Shelly Auen.
It is backed with fabric that looks
like corn kernels and is very lightly
filled. I have stitched cross stitches
around the edge in a prim fashion.

Framed Cross Stitch - Prairie Farm
This primitive framed cross stitch
measures 5-1/4"x 7-1/4". It is stitched
on aged linen with conventional threads
and framed with a reclaimed wood
frame that was deconstructed then
custom sized for the linen.
The frame is based in dark mustard,
over-brushed in black and sanded.
It is backed with a hard chipboard easel
back and also has a sawtooth hanger.
The simplicity and primitive look is
a nice addition to tuck in a basket or
a corner shelf.
