1832 Strawberry Pinkeep

My garden strawberries have started to grow
which is the inspiration for this prim
pinkeep, a design from Country Rustic Prims.
Measuring 5" x 5-1/2",  the
pinkeep was stitched with single ply
hand over-dyed threads on over-dyed
linen.

It is backed with cotton, lightly filled and
edge whip stitched.  A rusty pin and bell are
attached in the front corner.

Emma's Work Linen Drum Pinkeep

This linen drum is a design from With Thy
Needle and Thread and measures 6" high x 4" wide.
The drum is stitched with conventional
threads in muted shades on linen and
tightly filled.

Small cross stitches accent the top, bottom
and back seam area.  There are two
strawberries made of aged velour which
have been sanded to replicate age.
They have homespun caps
and floss stems.

Strawberry Tin Mold

Once again, strawberries on my mind.....
This vintage tin mold is from a local
antique shop and has a stitchery from
Lizzie Kate worked on linen secured in it.

The tin mold measures 3" wide x 2-3/4"
high and is in good shape with no rust or
dents, just normal light wear.  The stitchery
was worked with over-dyed threads and is
filled with batt.
I have placed two vintage hat pins and a
button on the top for accent.  Please do not
display around small children due to
these accents.
