Punch Needle Hornbook

This primitive hornbook measures
5-1/2" x 9-1/4" x 3/4".  I stitched
this with Valdani hand over-dyed
threads and secured it to hand cut
reclaimed wood.

Rusty wire is wound around the top
and the stitchery is edged with
black boucle.

Matilda Hornbuckle Cupboard Hanger

Matilta is a cute primitive cupboard
hanger measuring 7-1/2" x 5-1/2".  The
rusty wire hanger adds an additional 3-1/2"
in height.  This is a design by Notforgotten
Farm and is stitched with hand over-dyed
and conventional threads on aged linen.

The stitchery has a very flat finish with
cotton warm and natural as the fill and a
backing of gray wool.  I have overcast stitched
the edges and secured a small rusty star
in the upper corner.

used two fabric borders on it with
teeny stitched on the vertical border.
