October Updates

Tin Measuring Cup Needle Punch

This upcycled vintage measuring cup
measures 2-3/4" (opening) plus an
additional 2-1/2" to the handle end.
Height is 2-3/4".

I found this old cup at a local antique
shop and stitched a small needle
punch stitchery to fit on the front.

It is worked with Valdani over-dyed threads.
Jute around the handle and rusty wire
complete this sweet piece.

Salem Pinkeep

Salem is a cross stitch pinkeep on aged linen measuring
5-1/4" x 4-1/2".
I have stitched this with one thread over two;
it is a design from Widgets and Wool.

The pinkkeep is backed with black wool
and filled with snippets.
A rusty look key is secured in the corner.

All Hallows Eve Pinkeep

Hallows Eve is a larger stitchery measuring
8-1/2" x 7".  This is a design by Pineberry Lane
which I stitched with over-dyed threads
on aged linen, one thread over two for
a vintage look.
There are running stitches around the edge
and wool pennies stitched on one end.
I have secured a rusty look key on one
corner, it is snippet filled for a somewhat
flattened old look.

It is backed with a dark pumpkin color wool.
Hallows Eve is a cute stitchery with fall
colors and threads coordinated together.

Bittersweet October Pinkeep

Bittersweet October is a design from
Threadworks Primitives and measures
4-1/2" x 6-1/2".   This pinkeep is stitched
with over-dyed threads, one thread over
two and is filled with snippets.
I have edged it with a mini pom trim and
backed it with a dark green/black wool.
The threads are soft autumn colors which
are complimentary to the aged linen.

'Tis sold, Thank you Susan

Strainer Needle Punch

This vintage tin strainer measures
6" x 6" and is in remarkable good
shape for it's age.
I secured a needle punch, little crow with
fall leaves on it which measures 3-1/2" diameter.

The needle punch was worked with Valdani
hand over-dyed threads.

I wound rusty wire through the top.

'Tis sold, Thank you Diane
