Peace On Earth
Offered this month is Peace on Earth, a punch needle hornbook measuring 9-1/2" x 6-1/2". This is a design by Brenda Gervais and is worked on weavers cloth with Valdani hand over-dyed threads.
The hornbook is hand cut from reclaimed wood and is based, sanded and antiqued. There is a bit of cinnamon rubbed into the antiqued finish.
Rusty wire with a trio of bells and a homespun tie is secured around the top.

Pinkeeps
Two primitive pinkeeps are worked on aged linen and filled with clean sawdust for a somewhat flattened olde finish.
The reindeer pinkeep measures 4-1/2" x 7" and has rusty bells attached in the corners.
They are backed with a warm neutral plaid wool.

Rudolph
Rudolph is a dimensional punch needle reindeer measuring 5" x 5-1/4"
He is worked with Valdani hand over-dyed threads and has a subtle cotton print backing.
Rudolph has a wool scarf, rusty bell nose and twigs for antlers and legs. He stands on his own legs but I have attached a clear thread hanger for hanging if desired.
Snowmen In The Round
A group of happy snowmen are stitched on linen and secured to a sturdy round box measuring 7-1/2" x 4". The paper mache box is based with black, lightly stenciled with a checkerboard design and antiqued.
The snowmen and S N O W wording is stitched with muted overdyed threads on aged linen.

There is a braided jute handle on the sides, large rusty bells, homespun secured to the sides and a snow tag. 
The inside is lined with cotton ticking.
This dimensional punch needle make-do measures 9" high. The base
is 3-1/2" square and the tree at the widest part near the bottom is
5-1/4".
I
worked this make-do with Valdani hand over-dyed threads, it is a Brenda
Gervais design. There is rusty wire with tiny bells wound around the
tree and a rusty star on the top.
Strips of cotton homespun are tied at the base, the tree trunk is an actual tree branch cut and shaped to fit into the base.
The back is dark forest green wool, a heavy coat weight.
