Love Birds Pinkeep
This pinkeep measures 5-3/4" x 4-1/4" and is stitched on aged linen with conventional threads. It is wool snippet stuffed for a flattened appearance, the linen is hand stitched to the wool backing. No machine sewing on this pinkeep.... all hand stitched.
I have added a rusty heart tied with a bit of pearl cotton to the corner.
It is backed with a neutral plaid wool.

Blue Birds Linen Pinkeep
This pinkeep measures 4-3/4" x 4-1/4" and is stitched on aged linen with hand over-dyed threads.
I have attached a small rusty pin on the front and it is backed with black wool.

Primitive Heart Make-Do
This primitive make-do measures 10-1/2" x 5-3/4" wide (at the widest section of the heart). I have used a variety of fabrics; cottons and tickings. There are many different decorative stitches on the heart, most of them hand stitched. There is a rusty look key and rusty safety pin attached.
The heart sits in a reclaimed spring that I have tied at the base to shorten it a tad. There is a grunged reversible tag tied to the spring with an over-dyed strip of lace.
It is backed with the aged cottage floral fabric shown on the top of the heart.
