The hornbook is edged with black
boucle, rusty wire and a rusty heart
are wound around the top.

Needle Punch
Wall Harvest Basket
The harvest basket measures 10" x 5-1/4".
The inside opening is 3" wide and the handle
on the top adds an additional 3-1/2"
to the basket height.
The basket is from an antique shop in
Sanborn, NY which I aged a bit with
a dusky overbrush.
The needlepunch is stitched with Valdani
hand over-dyed threads and edged
with black boucle. It is secured to the
basket and a string of buttons is looped
through the basket edge.
There is a thick strip of loose woven
fabric tied around the hanging basket
loop.
This basket would look nice with pip
berries or seasonal dried fillers, endless
possibilities.
