October Updates

Primitive Linen Pinkeep

The pinkeep offered below is a design from Notforgotten Farm
measuring 6" x 5".  I stitched the design on aged linen
with hand over-dyed threads.

A strip of black wool is stitched on one side with a
rusty safety pin and bell.  A button is secured to
the other top corner for embellishment.

The pinkeep edges are hand stitched with a small whip
stitch, it is backed with cotton fabric and filled with
wool snippets.

Pumpkin Vine Hornbook

This primitive autumn hornbook measures 7" x 7" x 1/2"
and is also hand cut from repurposed wood.

I stitched this piece with Valdani hand over-dyed threads.
It is based in black, sanded and edged with black boucle.

There is rusty wire, jute and buttons wound
around the top.

Witch - Framed

Witch is a primitive framed stitchery measuring
8-1/4" x 12".  I stitched the design on an aged loose weave
cotton fabric which gives it a nice old feel and look.

The frame was sized for this stitchery from a chippy
repurposed piece of wood.  It has nicks, dings, some
old barn red paint left on.... a great look.

It is backed with brown paper dust cover and has
jute attached for hanging or tucking this in a cupboard
would also be a great prim look.
