October Updates


Halloween Pinkeep

Offered this month is a primitive
pinkeep measuring 4-1/2"x 8". 
I stitched this with one ply cotton thread
on heavily aged linen and filled it
with wool and linen snippets.





It is backed with wool felt and has
a rusty look key attached in the corner.


Primitive cross stitches are edge stitched
around the sides and the bottom is
whip stitched closed.

Needle Punch Three Pumpkins

This needle punch measures 7"x 7"x 7/8" 
and is stitched with Valdani hand over-dyed
threads.  




The hornbook is prim hand cut from
reclaimed wood that has a well worn
look. I have wrapped rusty wire and
jute twine around the top.

Harvest Moon Pinkeep

Harvest Moon measures 3-3/4"x 8-1/4"
and is stitched with one ply threads on
aged tumbleweed linen.  




It is backed with cotton fabric and
has a rusty star attached in the corner.




This pinkeep is snippet filled and
is whip stitched closed on the bottom
in a prim style.

Needle Punch - Jack

This needle punch measures 7"x 7-1/2 x 7/8".
This was stitched with Valdani hand over-
dyed threads and mounted on a pine
hand cut hornbook.  



Rusty wire and a rusty star are wound
around the top.

Spooky Pinkeep/Cupboard Tuck

Spooky measures 4-3/4"x 6-1/4"
and is stitched with one ply threads on
aged linen.  



The pinkeep is wool and linen snippet
filled and is backed with cotton fabric.




I have attached a rusty star in the corner
and whipstitched the edges with a heavy
black cotton thread.
